ASTM A240 Grade S32750 its low carbon content greatly lowers the risk of carbide precipitation, has better corrosion resistance than stainless steel 904L, in dilute sulfuric acid contaminated with chloride ions. Therefore it is highly resistant to carbide-related intergranular corrosion.
