Pure nickel plate has features of heat conductor and corrosion resistance, particularly from chemicals and caustic substances, and it is used in heat exchangers where corrosion resistance is needed. They are a thin layer of nickel that is placed on the surface of the nickel plate with the help of electroplating.

It is a nickel-based alloy that is used in applications that require enhanced properties. High purity nickel plate improves electrical conductivity by more than 20% beyond cast products, with greater power transmission.
