Chhajed Steel Limited are aggressively venturing into exporting of our products to various countries. Copper nickel alloys are high resistant to sea water. These alloys by standard should have 60 to 90% copper in them. The nickel content can be higher and there are alloys called Monel which contain a minimum of 52% nickel in them. The Copper Nickel alloy is silver in color regardless of the copper content. The alloy is corrosion resistant in most environments. Copper Nickel price ranges from product to product and grade to grade. The Copper Nickel alloy properties include macrofouling, high tensile strength, high ductility, high thermal conductivity and antimicrobial touch surface properties as well. The Copper Nickel alloy applications range widely. The use in hulls of boats and ships a common one. These alloys are used in heat exchanger tubes, condensers, tubesheets, piping, fittings, water boxes and pumps in sea water components. They are used in high pressure systems in sea water system design. Power generation plants, offshore oil industries, desalination plants and ship building facilities all use the alloy for high corrosion resistance and high strength.
